Chemical Peels
Why chemical peels?
Because they are better designed and more effective than ever before. Exfoliation is important as we age to keep skin as healthy as possible.
In the long term, peels are safer and cause fewer complications than lasers for hyper-pigmentation, sun damage, and melasma.
Melasma usually appears in a symmetrical pattern on the face, and occasionally on other body parts. Also known as the "mask of pregnancy," it can be hormonally triggered and emerges more frequently in darker skin tones.
Chemical Peels also can help in the battle against acne, by removing buildup on the surface of the skin. A peel containing antibacterial and soothing agents will leave skin glowing.
Sun damage causes fine lines and wrinkles, as well as dark spots, which can all be minimized by a chemical peel. Removing the outer layer of the epidermis leaves the skin fresher and healthier.
