The benefits of relaxation

We all know relaxation is a good thing, so why don't we do more of it?

 

What I witnessed as a hypnotist was remarkable: when people took the time to listen to their hypnosis sessions 2 or 3 times a day, they were not only more relaxed overall, but optimistic and far more capable of achieving their goals.  In other words, if you slow down you will be more successful and effective.

 

Physically, when you relax a lot changes.

Your breathing and heart rate slow, your blood pressure drops, your stress hormone production drops, your digestion improves, the blood flow increases to major muscle groups, and chronic pain and tension in the body are lessened.

 

Emotionally, you feel better and are more able to think clearly, so you can do the things you need to do.

 

Stress is a major problem in modern life.

It's a complicated world and we just don't have time.

But here are a few tricks I'd like to share with you on balancing it out.

 

1.  just take 5 minutes for yourself.

Also get a massage, take a walk, have a facial; they can all be relaxing.
