Exercise improves skin function

We all know exercise increases metabolism and makes us look better, feel better, and sleep better, but did you know it also gives the skin a nice healthy glow? Not just while you're sweating, but afterwards there is a residual affect.

When we exercise and the body's metabolism speeds up, the pores dilate and the sweat helps to wash away much of the dirt and oil that gets stuck, causing breakouts. The increased flush of nutrients and oxygen to the body gives the skin more support to heal, repair, and rebuild. Equaling the one thing we all want as we age: more collagen and smoother, clearer, younger skin!
